Mr. Gasket Ultra-Seal Head Gaskets contain a five layer composition structure of flexible graphite core with perforated steel outer layers. The graphite core provides excellent thermo-conductivity. They prevent gasket burn-out by transferring heat away from hot spots in head to coolant passages. This exceptionally tough gasket is one of the most important parts in the engine. It seals all the combustion chambers as well as the coolant and oil channels between the head and the block. These ultra-seal gaskets do not creep, cold-flow or indent aluminum cylinder heads. see details
